On the morning of December 1, 2023, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), University of Da Nang, had a meeting with Mynavi Group, Japan, to strengthen the exchange and cooperation in training and recruiting high-quality human resources in the fields of information technology, communication, and digital economy.Â
Attending the working session, from Mynavi, were Mr. Sakamoto Kazuhiro – Director of Digital Strategy Development and Mr. Tran Nhu Hoai – Director of NAL Solutions. Representing VKU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap – President of the University, along with leaders from various departments, faculties, and centers of the University.
Presiding over the reception, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap warmly welcomed the representatives of Mynavi Group, Japan, to VKU for the working session. The President shared that VKU always clearly defines its mission and responsibilities in training, providing high-quality human resources, conducting scientific research, transferring knowledge, and technology, with a vision to become a leading university in the country and aspire to international excellence in training and research; operating under an advanced management model, a modern and intelligent school.Â
With strengths in information technology, communication, and digital economy, VKU has over 6,000 students and admits 1,500 new students annually. This is a high-quality human resource to meet the current labor market demands. Currently, VKU has been collaborating with many Japanese partners to organize Japanese-language enhanced IT classes. The IT Engineer class in collaboration with NiX Education has achieved significant results, serving as an effective training cooperation model that can be expanded in the future.
During the working session, Mr. Sakamoto Kazuhiro expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the University’s leaders and shared information about Mynavi as a large corporation in Japan, established since 1973, with its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. With nearly 12,000 current employees and 60 branches nationwide, Mynavi also has 4 representative offices in countries such as Warsaw (Poland), Jakarta (Indonesia), Manila (Philippines), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), and 7 member companies (in Vietnam, including ITViec and Nal Solutions).Â
With 50 years of specializing in recruiting human resources, communication, and other services, over 90% of Japan’s population is familiar with the Mynavi brand. With a high demand for human resource development in the fields of information technology, communication, and digital economy for Mynavi Group and the Japanese market. Through their research, Mynavi found that Vietnamese universities, including VKU, are capable of meeting the demand for human resources, and they desire to cooperate with VKU to coordinate in training, fostering, and recruiting high-quality human resources in the coming time.
At the end of the working session, the University’s leaders welcomed and expressed their readiness to expand cooperation, creating the most favorable conditions for Mynavi Group, Japan, to approach, guide training, and introduce job opportunities to students.
