Cyber Risk Consultant

We are hiring a Cyber Risk Consultant who will assess, quantify and help remediate cyber-security risks across our cloud and on-prem environments. You will lead and, where necessary, conduct penetration tests, translate findings into a risk register, and work with engineering & business teams to prioritise mitigation.

Analysis of the security of (web) applications, mobile apps, web services, rich clients, and much more primarily with the means of application security penetration testing.
Static code analysis with tools like Fortify and Checkmarx,…
Further development of testing methods for new attack vectors.
Collaboration with the client’s application developers and security managers.
🎖 What you should have
General qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience in international software projects (flexible depending on how fast your learning and technical developing capabilities are).
Degree in computer science, engineering, or natural sciences (university or technical college).
Creativity, quality awareness, and enjoy sharing your experience and knowledge.
Technical skills:
Strong interest in IT security – which is also expressed by the fact that you have already acquired some prior knowledge of it.
Software developer in the field of modern web applications with at least 2 years of professional experience.
Experience with Linux and scripting languages is preferred.
Soft skills:
Sense of responsibility, communication skills, and team spirit.
Willingness to learn and build a deep understanding.
Be able to work independently and under pressure.
Nice to have:
Good at English is a plus.
Good at Japanese is a bonus point.

You’ll join a 15-member team, including 4 in-house consultants, 1 industry expert based in Singapore, and collaborators from Mynavi’s Security team.
Your responsibilities include:
Internal: Ensuring security across high-sensitivity internal projects by verifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
External: Providing security consulting services to existing clients, helping them assess risks and strengthen their systems.
