Q1: Why did you choose “Ready” as the keyword for 2026?

To me, being “Ready” isn’t about bracing oneself or striving for a state of perfect preparation. In a world characterized by hyper-speed change, the most robust preparation often lies in a quiet, clear mind.Being “Ready” means knowing exactly what matters most in this very moment and pouring your focus into completing it wholeheartedly. When we learn how to close a task with a meaningful result, we naturally find ourselves “light-hearted and empty-handed” – free to embrace the next step with a fresh perspective, unfazed by however change unfolds.

Q2: Why is it necessary to be ready to “Reprogram Yourself”?

To achieve true transformation, the first key is to refresh how we run our own “Operating System” (OS). We all possess immense potential, but in the relentless grind of daily life, we often unintentionally let old habits take the wheel: working by reflex, overcommitting, or staying busy all day while missing out on joy and the actual value we create.[The Trap of “Pseudo-Completion”]In an organization, it’s not uncommon to see people clinging to last year’s plans even when the context has shifted and goals have moved. When that happens, we fall into the trap of “pseudo-completion” – a false sense of busyness where we obsessively check off “to-do” items, yet the actual value delivered to ourselves and the collective remains stagnant.“Reprogramming yourself” is simply the process of slowing down to observe how you are operating. It’s about identifying the old mental patterns that act as friction, then subtly adjusting them. The goal is for every step we take to be Clear, Lean, and Focused, turning small daily efforts into profound, meaningful transformations.

Q3: How do you define “Expanding Horizons” and how can one achieve it?

To me, expanding your horizons simply means reducing the limitations you impose on yourself. Many of these boundaries are actually assumptions built from past experiences, old habits, or the mentality of “this is how we’ve always done it”. By getting swept up in those habits, we don’t just limit our results; we limit our energy, our confidence, and the breadth of our choices.Therefore, the first step to expanding your limits isn’t to try harder, but to see clearer:

  • Am I reacting to the current reality, or to an old memory?
  • Is this difficult because the task is truly hard, or because I’m carrying the belief that “I can’t do it”?
  • Am I stuck because of a lack of solutions, or because I’m trapped in a familiar routine?

When you see it clearly, a space for choice naturally emerges. And that space is exactly where potential opens up.

Q4: You mentioned “operating one’s own OS”. Could you elaborate on this metaphor and what you hope to achieve?

In an IT environment like TechTus, everyone is familiar with the concept of an Operating System (OS), so I use it as a metaphor for both individuals and the organization. If we imagine:

  • The Body as the Hardware;
  • The Mind as the OS;
  • Energy/Motivation as the Power source;
Then my hope is that every individual, and the company as a whole, can build a healthy “Hardware”, a flexible “OS” that is always ready for updates, and a boundless “Power source.”Being “flexible and ready for updates” means that when change hits, you don’t freeze. You don’t get stuck in the old habits of yourself, your team, or the organization. Instead, you clearly identify the “most important thing to do” at any given time, package it into small, valuable outcomes, and complete them cleanly before moving on to the next new challenge.

Q5: To wrap up this Ready Lens session, what is your closing thought?

I don’t expect “perfect” readiness. Rather, I envision a readiness where we recognize our old habits, choose a fresh operating model, and distill each day into its most essential task – packaging every outcome with purpose. When we do that, both the individual and the organization will naturally expand their horizons, ready for whatever change comes next.
