In today’s digital age, businesses are increasingly turning to cloud computing to streamline operations, enhance system performance, and future-proof their platforms. One recent success story comes from Mynavi TechTus Vietnam, where our engineering team led a complex yet impactful infrastructure transformation for a Japanese job search platform dedicated to senior citizens.
Project Overview
This is a technical project focused on the development and management of an information system, encompassing the migration of the infrastructure environment from on-premise physical servers to a cloud platform. It also involves building the infrastructure on the cloud system, while simultaneously optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing user experience.
Project Type: Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
The Technical Challenges
This project centers around a job search platform specifically designed for senior citizens in Japan. The current system is deployed on an on-premise physical server infrastructure, leading to challenges such as complex infrastructure management, high operational costs, and a suboptimal user experience. Consequently, the client aims to transition to a serverless architecture

Our Solutions
Our approach focused on three key areas: infrastructure migration, cloud architecture design, and operational optimization.
1. Seamless Migration from On-Premise to AWS
We developed a detailed migration roadmap to guide every step of the process, ensuring precision and minimal service disruption. Key actions included:
- Detailed Migration Planning: Developing a comprehensive migration roadmap, including impact assessment for each phase to mitigate risks on the production environment.
- Optimized Downtime Strategy: Selecting the fastest yet safest migration methodologies to minimize service disruption.
- Robust Stress Testing Framework: Executing thorough stress testing following a 3-step approach:
- Creating detailed test case documentation.
- Performing stress tests on staging/pre-production environments.
- Infrastructure optimization based on stress test results.
- Migration Go-Live post successful testing.
- Granular Monitoring and Alerting during the migration process.
2. Building Robust Infrastructure on AWS
With the system migrated, our next goal was to build a cloud-native architecture optimized for long-term scalability and resilience:
- Cloud Architecture Design: We created a detailed infrastructure blueprint emphasizing: High Availability (HA); High Reliability; Strong Security; High Performance;Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity (DR/BCP).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): We utilized AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to automate deployments and manage infrastructure programmatically.
- Real-Time Operations Dashboard: A comprehensive monitoring dashboard was implemented to visualize all critical metrics and system health indicators.
Tech Stack
- Cloud Platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Backend Framework: Ruby on Rails

Results and Impact
- The AWS migration project was a technical and strategic success. It not only significantly reduced operational costs and simplified maintenance, but also resolved key technical challenges that had previously stalled progress. The system now boasts improved performance, seamless integration, and a more agile foundation for future development.
- Client satisfaction was notably high, particularly in light of Mynavi TechTus Vietnam’s ability to deliver where previous partners had struggled. The project is currently in the maintenance phase, with ongoing plans to further expand and enhance the system in response to evolving technical demands.
Looking Ahead
With a future-proof cloud infrastructure in place, the platform is now well-positioned to scale dynamically and support the unique needs of its users. As demands grow more complex, Mynavi TechTus Vietnam remains committed to delivering innovative, efficient, and resilient solutions for the digital era.
